This week's Moonscopes - June 14 to June 20

Sunday, Monday: the Moon is in Pisces
Mercury in Gemini and Saturn in Virgo are both aspecting the Moon right now. Mercury, the planet that rules communication and information, is square (a 90-degree angle) the Moon. Saturn, the planet that likes a serious dose of reality and a good case of boundaries, is in opposition (a 180-degree angle) to the Moon. Keep contacts and contracts based on what is actual and exact and leave the fun stuff until another time.

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday am(*v/c): the Moon is in Aries
There is nothing in the way of charging full speed ahead and really going for it, whatever "it" happens to be, which is a typical Aries characteristic. The one caution is Thursday morning when the Moon is void of course. V/C occurs when the Moon is getting ready to leave one sign and move on to the next and there are no connections (aspects) with the other planets during that same time. You can scroll down on this page to read more about what this means to your daily life.

Thursday pm, Friday, Saturday am(v/c): the Moon is in Taurus
Two planets, Venus & Mars, are in close connection to each other and to the Moon. Since all three are in the astrological sign Taurus, all three are supporting calm, even and smooth activity that is designed for completing something. Taurus likes for things to go right along the routine path without variation or disruption. The planet Jupiter, in Aquarius and therefore in square aspect to the Moon and these two planets, is supporting lots of change and variety, some of which may be too offbeat for Taurus to put up with. In other words, balance out whether something new is really warranted right now or whether staying the current course is best.

Saturday pm: the Moon is in Gemini
The sign Gemini loves interpersonal communication, as was mentioned earlier this week, especially if it involves passing along some interesting information. Reading, writing, phone conversations, and email messages, even though the internet falls under the rulership of the sign Virgo which also is involved in the gathering and dispensing of information to an extent, are all highlighted.

Note: Timeframes for Moon signs, void-of-course periods, and current planet & asteroid positions are noted for Eastern time zone (USA). Please adjust according to your own location. Times are not given if the void-of-course Moon occurs for a very short period or if it occurs during the night (based on Eastern time zone).

* v/c = Void-of-Course - When the Moon is void-of-course, spend time working on projects already in progress, creative endeavors, or self-improvement. Void-of-course simply means that no planets are aspecting the Moon. It's best not to start new projects, sign important agreements, or go shopping when the Moon is void-of-course because the result will probably be unsatisfactory in some way.

** Mercury Retrograde - the speed of the planet slows down considerably. Communications, paperwork, electronics, and traffic can become very mixed-up or delayed during this time. A situation will be in the process of changing, so wait until Mercury is direct to finalize anything. In general, maintain a slower, more cautious pace in daily affairs. Always allow at least two days before (to slow down) and after Mercury retrograde (to resume regular activities).
