This week's Moonscopes - May 24 to May 30

Sunday(New Moon), Monday: the Moon is in Gemini
All of the planets except two, Mercury & Pluto, and all of the asteroids except Pallas (also called Pallas Athene) are in connections with the Moon. Yes, astrologers still interpret Pluto in terms of being a planet even though scientists have downgraded it to a planetoid. Scientists have also upgraded the asteroid Ceres to a planetoid, however astrologers still interpret it in the context of an asteroid. Since the Moon is in Gemini right now, the planet that rules communication and information, and all these astrological connections are activating intellectual energies, this is a good time pass along some tidbits of knowledge or wisdom or even folklore.

Tuesday, Wednesday: the Moon is in Cancer
The Moon rules Cancer and is naturally at home in this sign. The Moon exerts influence over the affairs of daily life as well as the home, garden, groceries, cooking, laundry and other things that pertain to the domestic side of everyday life. So, when the Moon is in Cancer, take care of ordinary and necessary tasks that are essential to existence. You can also take advantage of this Moon placement to spruce up your home and make it into a cozy, comfortable retreat from the outside world.

Thursday, Friday: the Moon is in Leo
One of the keywords for the astrological sign Leo is honor. One of the keywords for the planet Jupiter is exaggeration. When Jupiter is in Aquarius and opposite the Moon in Leo, as it is right now, be aware of the tendency on anyone's part to elaborate on the facts, even in jest. Maintain an upright and responsible position and sort out what is pertinent or applicable and let the rest float out into the atmosphere.

Saturday: the Moon is in Virgo
The planet Saturn is attached to the day of week - Saturday - and is currently in Virgo, which means it also has a close connection (aspect) to the Moon right now. The words for Saturn and Saturday (guess where the word "Saturday" came from) are work and accomplishment. This is a good weekend to successfully complete a project.

Current Asteroid Transits:
Ceres - Clairfy exactly what is important.
Pallas - Look to your past for some skills you can use now.
Juno - Are there rose-colored glasses in your relationship?
Vesta - Little, but very important, messages appear.
Chiron - Regeneration comes in unusual forms.

Note: Timeframes for Moon signs, void-of-course periods, and current planet & asteroid positions are noted for Eastern time zone (USA). Please adjust according to your own location. Times are not given if the void-of-course Moon occurs for a very short period or if it occurs during the night (based on Eastern time zone).

* v/c = Void-of-Course - When the Moon is void-of-course, spend time working on projects already in progress, creative endeavors, or self-improvement. Void-of-course simply means that no planets are aspecting the Moon. It's best not to start new projects, sign important agreements, or go shopping when the Moon is void-of-course because the result will probably be unsatisfactory in some way.

** Mercury Retrograde - the speed of the planet slows down considerably. Communications, paperwork, electronics, and traffic can become very mixed-up or delayed during this time. A situation will be in the process of changing, so wait until Mercury is direct to finalize anything. In general, maintain a slower, more cautious pace in daily affairs. Always allow at least two days before (to slow down) and after Mercury retrograde (to resume regular activities).
