This week's Moonscopes - May 3 to May 9
Sunday, Monday: the Moon is in Virgo
Mercury, the planet that rules communication, and Saturn, the planet that rules challenges, are both aspecting (connecting to) the Moon. Mercury is ready to go retrograde this week, which means that situations or people can easily become befuddled or confused. Take extra time with paperwork and clarify everything before making a final decision. The Full Moon that is coming up very early this Saturday (right after midnight Eastern Daylight Time) has the potential to be a little intense, so it would be best to keep things as upfront as possible.
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday am(*v/c): the Moon is in Libra
Venus and Mars are both in Aries, the sign that is directly across the zodiac from Libra. Libra rules close personal relationships. Venus rules love and Mars rules desires. When we put all these puzzle pieces together, things look promising for a nice couple of days during the middle of this week. When planets are in opposition (directly across from) to each other, it can create a good balance in whatever is going on - or, on the other hand, it can create a diametrically opposed situation that requires a lot of discussion and compromise from both sides. To borrow from a well known quote - tread softly and do not carry a big stick.

Look beyond the surface level or the obvious. Use the energies of the Scorpio Moon to investigate possibilities that perhaps haven't been considered before. Jupiter, the planet of growth and expansion, is in the sign Aquarius and is in a strong connection (square aspect) with the Full Moon in Scorpio, the sign that rules things hidden or behind the scenes. It will be worth the effort to take a peek.
