I remember flying as a child and as an adult - not knowing that what I was doing - I would levitate and fly around my town looking down on the sleeping houses. I would visit the cats prowling about but when I woke in the morning I would always think I was making it up.
Now that I am a bit more studied - I realize what I was doing and find myself wanting to lift off the ground almost every night in my sleep. Some nights I can't seem to do it and I have been watching to see if those are the times when I have had a hard day. I have had many daydreams too - waking dreams that are quite vivid - not of my imagination (which can be wild, I admit).

This is a great topic. I have been having lucid dreams for years. I've never tried to have them though.
I started searching for reasons behind these, years ago. I believe in angels and other beings. So, when I have dreams that things start getting frightening for me, for some reason, I know to call on them. I started doing this about 5 years ago. I noticed that everything that I found frightening in the dream, would stop.
I'd really like to hear more experiences from others.
